Before 2007, all teaching and training activities had to take place in CGIS labs because of two main reasons:

  • mainly becuse only here students or trainnes could find enough computers powerfull enough to process GIS operations,
  • CGIS has enough ArcGIS licenses.

Over the years, computers became more affordable and more powerfull, to this day, all teachings take place in computer labs located in university campuses.
